What juice is good for kidney health
The topic of what fruit and vegetable is good for kidney health is something I wanted to look at. The kidneys play an important role in the blood health of your body. You don’t need to have damaged kidneys to start looking after them.
What I found was carrots are the prime vegetable along with cucumber, beet and celery for kidney health. Fruits like apples, berries and pineapple, low in sodium, are best for kidney health. They all play a part in keeping your body healthy and your kidney’s functioning correctly.
We know our kidneys are responsible for cleaning your blood. In my notes I made, they process our blood to sort out excess fluids, unwanted chemicals and waste, and turn these into urine. So what we want/need from our vegetable intake is the ability to improve the cleansing of our blood.
For big meat eaters, meat is toxic to the nervous system although many of us partake of meat regularly, and the meat throws an unnecessary and harmful burden on the kidneys and liver.
The proper use of raw fruit and vegetable juices will not only restore our health but they will act as a shield against those foods which you should not be eating.
Here are some juice combo’s that are good for kidney function.
Juice For Kidney Health
Pineapple and Cucumber Juice
Pineapple and cucumber is a mild natural digestive stimulant and a good general gland regulator. Slightly diuretic and especially good for ulcers of the stomach, kidney stones and bladder disorder.
Ingredients: 1 cucumber pealed; tinned 500g pineapple peaces. Blend all. Fresh pineapple if you can get one.
Carrot and Beet Juice
Carrot and beet combination contains the alkaline elements potassium, sodium, calcium magnesium and iron in abundance. The combo is an intensive cleanser of the kidneys and gall bladder.
Ingredients:” 3 carrots washed; 1 beetroot washed chopped. Blend all. Add apple for sweetener.
Carrot and Celery Juice
Carrot and celery combination is good for pyelitis condition.
Ingredients: 3 carrot washed, 3 celery sticks washed. Blend all. Add apple for sweetener.
Carrot, Beet and Cucumber Juice
Carrot, beet and cucumber is also good for pyelitis condition.

Cucumber contains electrolytes which nourish the kidneys, especially when they’re over burdened with trying to filter out toxins from the body. Cucumber is the best natural diuretic known, secreting and promoting the flow of urine.
Carrots are a rich source of Vitamin A. They help normalise the entire system and they are a natural solvent for ulcerous conditions. Carrots also contain an ample supply of Vitamins B, C, D, E, G, and K. Carrots help promote the appetite and is an aid to digestion.
Beetroot with cucumber is a great cleanser and healing agent for gall bladder, the kidneys and glands. The quantity of iron in red beetroot is not high, however the quality furnishes excellent food for the red corpuscles of the blood.
Pineapple is beneficial because it contains Bromelain which is a digestive enzyme present in pineapples that help dissolve kidney stones in the body. Pineapple supports improved heart health as most dialysis patients suffer from heart complications.
You can also include:
Lemon, orange, and melon which all contain citric acid, or citrate. Citrate helps prevent kidney stone formation by binding with calcium in urine to make it less acidic.
For the body in general a good dose of parsley can help.
Parsley keeps bacteria, fungus and parasites at bay. parsley replenishes and restores energy when feeling exhausted. It’s loaded with Vitamins A, C, K, B, iron, zinc, selenium, magnesium, iodine, calcium and more.
Enjoying a fruit vegetable juice can benefit kidney health by providing more fluid to help keep the body hydrated. The extra antioxidants from the fruits and vegetables help reduce inflammation caused by oxidation. But you do need to take care what you consume.
You can always add Apples and Berries to your cocktail as they are low potassium fruits and will add a little sweetness.
Damaged kidneys allow potassium to build up in the blood causing serious heart problems. Avoid fruits that are high in potassium like bananas and vegetables like potatoes.
There are many fruits and vegetables that you can safely consume on a daily basis. However if you do suffer from kidney problems, you do need to consult your doctor and you do need to examine what you are eating.
Your blood is your life stream. Good blood cannot be made of white bread, and processed foods, The wrong diet brings with it ailments of constipated bowels, hemorrhoid’s, anemia, headache, nervousness, stomach trouble, liver and kidney ailments, heart disease, and thousands of other ailments.

A fruit vegetable juice is not a ‘one off thing‘. Like breakfast, a fruit vegetable juice is a daily occurrence for life. Your body needs vitamins and minerals every day. We tend not to forget several cups of coffee while we skip lunch but ignore the need to look after our bodies internally. Exercise and health only work when you feed your body good things.
Of course eating a healthy diet is paramount to having a healthy body. We tend to ignore this until it is generally too late and hospital is where we end up to be repaired. I will continue with my intake of fruit and vegetable be it by juice or food.
